I'm Richard, a product designer from Honolulu, Hawai'i, currently located in the greater Seattle area.

I graduated from the University of Hawai'i with a degree in Japanese Language and Culture, and spent several years going between Hawai'i and Japan working in English education, manga translation and mobile game localization.

Upon returning to the US in 2017 and starting over again, I found my way into healthcare, and subsequently UX Design, where I've spent the last eight years designing digital products that connect people to the care they need.

When I'm not designing, I enjoy cooking, paddleboarding and karaoke, preferably not all at once.
